Arpeggio Voice Studios

I am a professionally trained voice teacher with a background and training in professional vocal studies, both as a teacher and mezzo-soprano soloist. I possess a great love for teaching music especially voice. It is, of course, my first instrument. My performance background includes musical theater, opera, sacred oratorio works, and concert performances. My professional teaching background includes vocal instructor for college and university vocal studies programs, vocal music programs in both public and private, schools, and private studio voice. I currently sing with Opera Idaho and the Cathedral Chorale. I love to sing, and I love teaching. I truly enjoy working with individuals of all ages who want to sing from the heart. My focus is on guiding each voice student in using their natural, God given voice, as their "primary instrument" for sharing love, hope and peace with the rest of the world - as a "soloist," or as a member of the "chorus." My private voice students include beginning, intermediate and advanced students and those looking for a musical outlet or hobby. This can be very rewarding for the person who has never had a chance to sing as they always dreamed they might. It is wonderful for every age, but for the serious, older adult, it can renew and rekindle a joy for living, I teach singing for beginners to advanced, from children to teens and adults who come to me with or without vocal training or experience. My expertise covers coaching for auditions, band gigs, musical theater, solo and ensemble contests, and simply for those singers who look forward to learning to sing for their own enjoyment. I have taught private voice for over 38 years, both privately and in graduate university programs. My students include professional musicians - country, jazz, recording artists, and musical theater performers, from age 9 to "99". It would be my joy to help you meet your musical goals - developing, creating, and discovering your own musical abilities and talents along the way.
