I began my experience while fostering dogs for non profits. I know how to handle dogs of all sizes ranging from baby pups to extra large dogs. I handle untrained dogs , trained dogs, as well as dogs with special needs. I am trained in canine CPR and have experience in all types of behavioral issues. I'm not just a dog walker, I'm a friend to your pups!
To be able to take care of pets is satisfying because it doesn't feel like a job. It's something i love to do. Being able to take care of them while their owners are away is something that makes me happy- knowing the dogs won't be alone all day in the house waiting for their family to be back. Seeing them having a great time brings joy to the work I do .

As of today Samantha hasn't walked our pups yet. We did the meet and greet and hired Samanta to walk our 3 fur babies 4 times a week. She seemed very nice and was good with my dogs. I will update after our week of walks!

Wonderful! Samantha responded to me very quickly and was really professional. She offered to come pick up my two dogs and my cat but i respectfully declined so that I can go see how her home was and her place was super clean and organized. I felt safe leaving my pets there since it was very pet proofed. I was updated with pictures and videos daily and they seemed so happy! Definitely leaving them with Samantha from now on!

I hired Samantha by a friend who recommended her outside of this site. I was skeptical about leaving my precious Eleanor with a stranger all day since she's very shy and I know how to dispense her medication but let me tell you, I don't regret it one bit! Urban dog sitting service is great. I love seeing Tyson so happy after his daily walks. She also gives great discounts! Who doesn't love discounts? I'm glad I found someone who Tyson loves as much as I love him. She really does treat them like family!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing differs for the size of dogs and weather I will be traveling to you or to a dog friendly park/hiking trail. I also do dog visits, which consists of going to let the dog out at your house for half an hour , and refill their bowl with food or water as needed, etc. During my walks/visits I will send the owner a status report daily of your pups having a good time. Poop bags, treats , and leash are provided if necessary!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To get the “ball rolling” I like to chat over the phone and discuss the schedule, discuss the any important information regarding the pups including medication or training regimes to follow, and names to get to know them and a possible meet and greet to get the doggos acquainted. If after you were a great fit, then the dog walking fun begins!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Amazon driver and dog walk as a side job because I enjoy working with animals. I’m knowledgeable in canine CPR and have 6 years experience in dog sitting/walking.
