FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are based on the complexities required by a shoot, i.e. cost of location, number of subjects, degree of post-processing needed, potential equipment rental, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Collaboration is really where you get great results. Some customers know exactly what they want, while others need suggestions. We'll figure out where you are on that map and determine what is going to make you smile. If a quote isn't quite right, let's talk about what it takes to make it that way. There are no bad ideas when you're having fun and photography is fun! Once we determine the best plans for your session and figure out your desired session date and time, I will send you an invoice and get your payment setup. From there we begin planning your session! My goal is to provide images that make my customers happy. I am very open to your suggestions, and I will put my experience, style and ideas to work as well. I shoot a variety of types of photography including business and acting headshots, family portraiture and architectural/real estate, though I do specialize in artistic nude and boudoir. Don't let that throw you off if that's not your style. I think that capturing portraits, whether nude or clothed, make great memories. Hiring a professional is a wonderful way to take your mind off of the work and allow yourself to shine.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I picked up my first film camera at around age 12 and have loved photography ever since. The equipment, changes but the knowledge and experience only grows with every new shoot.
