What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Of Course, I regularly participate in IBM server simulation and training along with numerous refresher courses in all of the currently used software that I could use. I am certified by many industry standard products, all of which i have completed training in.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been interested in technology and networking, I was working construction out of town and wanted to work where I lived, so I decided to go back to school for computer management and networking. After working for a large environmental company for a few years I was encouraged by family and friends to start my own business as I acquired regular freelance clients for computer and networking support, I started Morgan Networks and have been building numerous large networks for many local companies ever since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs that I do is help increase productivity of a company by expanding the company network and develop or improve the server or computers that run that business.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Cargill's Administration Office, The main IT department needed to be connected to a new office. This job went perfect, it was a large job that ran so smoothly it was a dream job.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that the professional you are looking to hire has the same drive as you with the end result of the project and that they explain to you in detail how they plan on making things work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish that customers realized that troubleshooting computer problems sometimes takes awhile. There are so many things that it could possibly be. The problem could show signs that make you think it is one thing just to have it be something completely different, once you dig a little deeper.
