So we have a big Halloween Bash every year with about 150 people. We like to provide our guests complimentary cocktails. We hired Jill through Thumbtack and are thrilled with her mixology talent as well as her ability to handle such a large crowd. She was so helpful in the planning of the event and got into the spirit by wearing a costume! We love her and recommend her whole heartedly. We will definitely look to her for our bar tending needs.

Jill was terrific. She planned creative and delicious cocktails that were consistent with the theme of the party, was helpful to all the guests, and went above and beyond to be available during the party, whatever was needed (such as cleaning red wine off a white rug!) She arrived in a killer red dress and set a great tone for our party.

Jill is fantastic! Very thoughtful, kind, outgoing. Made everyone relax and have fun. Jill came with her own pop-up bar and all the gear she needed to run our drinks. And she thought of everything to make tour holiday party run smoothly - including sending a very comprehensive shopping list and picking up a few things we couldn't find. Working with MJ (Jill) was magnificent. I was in a dizzy as our clients bartender fell through a week before the wedding. Not only did she have everything we needed but she also provided the cigars for the groomsmen boxes which she dropped off to me prior to the day, which was a total plus plus plus !
Her professionalism and timely responses totally got her the job. The wedding was at the Alexandria Ballroom DTLA. And we needed to make sure we had all our vendors with the proper certification(which is not always a thing unfortunately). Not only did she have what we needed but she also took the time to educate me as an event planner about her field.
Over all she was a total 5. She was timely, clean and all the guests, including bride and groom were so pleased. Especially us at CBQ Events.
Lastly her price point was fair. She has a great personality and her business partner was everything described above as well.
We appreciate you and hope to work with you again soon. As we have added her to our preferred vendors list.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our base price is $35hr. We price based on your guest count, budget and service requirements. We will never sacrifice or unique standards of service, but will sacrifice profits in order to win your business. Creating an unforgettable experience is our number one priority. This is how we have built and maintained our clientele. We have a 99% repeat rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We listen to your needs and give our professional advice and recommendations. We work closely with you to design the most cost effective bar menu and provide you with a comprehensive shopping guide to assist you with your purchases. If you prefer us to do the shopping, we work within your budget with a 20% service fee. We strive to make your event as easy for you as possible. Let us take care of all your bar and service needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My business partner and I are master Mixologists, we have collectively over 20 years experience. We specialize in private and events of all types. We love working with you to create a special cocktail just for your event.
