- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I give free "no obligation" estimates. I can answer questions over the phone but prefer to come look at the scope of the job so I can offer the best price. I give discounts for multiple stumps.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customers call to get a quote on stump grinding cost. I travel to the job site, look at stump, access, get all info about what customer plans to do once stump is gone and then give a free, no obligation quote. Once job is approved, I will call in utility locates and schedule grinding. In many cases, if no locates are needed, I can grind the stump that day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Trees have literally been my life. I have 20+ years stump grinding experience plus I started felling trees in the woods with my Grandpa at age 10. At 20 I started climbing, pruning and removing trees and stumps for a professional tree care company. At 24 I started my own full service tree care business and became an ISA certified Arborist. I'm a retired tree climber and have been professionally grinding stumps since 1998.
