FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
When PTL was founded, we started as a design & Construction/ Installation of landscapes. We started adding services such as maintenance & snow plowing to help our customers, Once the landscape install was completed. Today We run 2 full maintenance crews and a Full time Construction crew- completing tasks such as- Design/install, Hardscape construction, Landscape enhancement/Renovation Seasonal color, tree, shrubs sod etc. The christmas Lights/Decor came from our owners love of christmas. As a kid he would hang lights on his parents home, which in turn neighbors, friends and family starting asking for help. Today we hang and store Lights for about 50 homes.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hire a professional firm, who are trained and skilled in what they do. Make sure they have some online or social media present. Ask for proof of insurance. Look at their reviews, ask if the can provide references. If they provide a very low bid, be sure you are comparing apples to apples. Never be afraid to ask questions, a professional will always be able to provide insite and answers.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Now a days, everyone seems to be a lawn service. I believe in the old school thinking that if you hire a true landscape firm, Your hiring a gardner. That knows his trade and what it takes to make your lawn and landscape like pristine. Before you hire your gardner do some research-not all online reviews are correct. Is he insured?
