I hired Factor X Inc to build a staircase from scratch in an existing apartment. The small space required two turns, avoiding a door, a light fixture and a ceiling fan. There is nothing level or square about the building, which was originally built in the 1890's and had been renovated multiple times by myself and my late architect husband after we bought it a century later. Vadim and his team were very helpful, cooperative and patient with me during the design process. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. It is not only beautiful, but extremely sturdy. No squeaks! Every person who showed up was polite and hardworking. The price was reasonable and was finished on schedule. I have no qualms about recommending them except that I want them all to myself.

Got ahold of them for new stairs from my first floor to basement. After some questions and photos, I got a very reasonable quote and they got to work the very next day. When they arrived, they made some good recommendations regarding materials but no push to unnecessarily upsell. They showed up each morning and worked through the day until the project was finished.
I am so pleased with how the stairs turned out, they were initially mismatched height and width, unsteady banister, and just ugly. The new ones are beautiful and they feel stable to go up and down, especially carrying laundry.
They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves, leaving the place looking better than when they arrived. I plan to reach out to them again in a couple months to have the rest of the floors refinished in my house. Highly recommend!
They did an incredible job on my baluster. We had over 100 and they finished in one day. Was so impressed we hired them for baseboard and stairs painting and couldn't be happier with quality of work. Even asked them to fix a few things and they came back immediately and did not push back. If you have quality and want it done fast, hire them.

Vadim at Factor X did an incredible job on our railing! This was a tough job with the sanding and Vadim stepped up when I couldn’t find anyone else to do the job. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed working with Factor X very much. Their communication was prompt and their team rebuilt our staircase quickly and cleanly.
