NatureMed Acupuncture uses a combination of massage and acupuncture to relieve pain. From acute to chronic, we treat stress, anxiety, high-blood pressure, men’s reproductive health, fertility, menopause, hormonal imbalances in both men and women, and sports injuries.
My entire career, I have been a healer. I have an undergraduate degree in Nursing and a strong knowledge of the underlying causes and aggravating factors of neuro-muscular injury and pain. I took that knowledge and focused on the benefits of healing through medical massage. I wanted to learn even more, so I completed the master's program in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chicago to expand into acupuncture and chinese herbal treatments.
I believe in using known and studies techniques from both eastern and western medicine.
It is the integration of these methodologies results in the most holistic beneficial treatments - such as targeted acupuncture, herbal medicine, and manual bodywork.

Oleg spent a 1/2 hour asking me questions about regarding the results I was looking for. Based in noir conversation, he then explained where he was going to apply the needles and why. Through the process, he explained the how the therapy over time would continue to provide relief, and recovery. I have been to Acupuncturists before. This is the first Dr. of Acupuncture that explained the benefits and the philosophy behind the process

I had been in an automobile accident...net result was surgery on shoulder, whip lash, physical therapy for shoulder. Have been in severe pain for 5 months while going throught PT. Medical Doctors no help PT kept saying pain will go away. Oleg in 2 sessions completely erradicated the whip lash...and all tension in the back area. He did a deep tissue massage...which helped break up the scare tissue which was impending my progress with shoulder therapy. Oleg brings a rich approach to his practice based on a variety of approaches from various cultures. I have been to various alternative practioners but I must say that Oleg is the best. Even if you want to feel better and do not have any real pressing problems...I can assure you of one thing. Take the x-tra time and go to Oleg instead of your standard run of the mill massage parlor. I was needing some serious relief from mounting stress. Oleg was quick to respond and very accommodating with his schedule. He did an amazing job first making sure he knew my needs, then he proceeded to give me the most thorough massage I have ever experienced. Very professional and has intuitive hands. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listening is the most important element of beginning with a new client. I listen to understand the reason they are there to visit me on that day, and what underlying or related issues may also need to be address to feel better.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an undergraduate degree in nursing, and worked in a hospital for many years. While there, I became very interested in pain management, and studied medical massage. Wishing to learn even more - I completed a master's program in Traditional Chinese Medicine where I learned, among other treatments - acupuncture, and chinese herbal medicines.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My career began in nursing. I saw the pain people were in and learned how medical massage can help ease pain and quicken healing. After many years of helping people through massage therapy, I wanted to learn more and studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and became interested in how acupuncture can relieve pain and speed healing.
