He called me and was very nice on the phone I asked when his next availability was and he came the next day. He was very nice and came with a nice helper. I had originally contacted him to update my bathroom, but then my toilet got clogged. He came in and I asked him how much he would charge just to unclog the toilet and possibly install a new toilet. He wouldn’t give me an answer he just said it could be $1000 if he had to fix the pipes…. I told him not to do anything until I knew exactly how much it would be. I just wanted the toilet unclogged…. He unclogged my toilet and installed another toilet. A toilet which I had already purchased. It had all the parts he needed. He just had to switch them out. He went down in basement and said he tightened the pipes. He was here less than an hour and half and he charged me $1200. He said he was going to come back and clean my gutters which do not need to be cleaned and I told him that. And he said he’d have a guy come out and install my 2 door locks. None of that was on the receipt. I just bought the house and pipes had just been hydro blasted. So I’m not sure what he had to do that cost so much money. Yes, he had to unclog the toilet and I’m not sure why it was even clogged in the first place, but come on $1200 to unclog a toilet, switch out toilets, tighten pipes, and have two door locks installed….. I don’t think so. He seemed nice, but that was just wrong. He took advantage of someone who didn’t know better and he knew better. So just watch out. Don’t let him do anything without knowing what the cost will be. Also the toilet he installed is crooked.

They cut a 30 inch opening for a 24 inch door. Drywall was knife cut but not scored on oth sides, so it was ragged and huge holes. Good side of plywood was turned toward hidden, so exposed plywood was the rough side. Bought 3/8 inch plywood when 3/4 was needed so adjoining floor doesn't align. Simply sloppy work. Door was not shimed and wouldn't close properly.
