Then we came across Chico's listing and were impressed by his reviews. Usually, reviews can be overly positive or negative but his was spot on. Chico was professional, thorough, and punctual. We needed a door re-hung(installed),baseboards replaced, and a few smaller issues handled quickly for an upcoming open house. I requested a quote, and his response was so fast it felt like AI, seriously. LOL After discussing the details, he showed up the very next morning. My door jamb is a unique size. Rather than waiting to order a custom-sized jamb, he checked multiple hardware stores and, when he could not find the right size, he built one himself. How cool is that? I hired him to shave the door. Before hiring him we chatted via Thimbtack app, he was VERY responsive. Once we set the date he arrived earlier and I appreciated him texting to ask if we had availability earlier and we did. He arrived timely with his tools based on the project. I was shocked he had his own horse to lay the door on to cut. Excellent job and my door is shaved even and I'm happy. His pricing was as quoted and fair. I always have a need for a handy person I will definitely hire Stepan again."See more
