I can make a custom piece inspired by your ideas or replicate your favorite antique. I can also restore and repair your favorite wood furniture piece; leaving it as beautiful as the day it was first built. I have worked anywhere from private homes to universities to museums. I have worked with designers and most times, I give suggestions as to how the furniture piece will retain its look but building in such a way that it will last for years. I have been so fortunate and proud to see many pieces that I have built in my lifetime in the Chicago area come back to me, but only to update its look by changing its upholstery and having the client compliment on how it has withstood the heaviest of family members and guest without ever losing its integrity. Custom in every way, I have had to build pieces for athletes where the dimensions of the furniture was made to compliment heavy or very tall clients.
