I believe that the furniture or the cabinets we make should stay with the house for generations to enjoy and be made to the highest standards. I personally make or am involved in making every single piece that leaves our shop so I take quality very serious. I’m always up for a challenge and enjoy making something that no one has ever seen before or applying details to make something totally unique. Our staff takes more time on the finishing final details than most companies. We all have a very keen eye for details and we apply our knowledge and skill on every project we work on.
My favorite part of the job is being with clients during the final walkthru or when we deliver their custom product. The response we get from our customers is confirmation that I’m doing exactly what I was born to do. We take alot of pride in our work and it shows on every job we complete.

Ken built a custom shelf for our under the counter, drawer style microwave and added a small drawer at the bottom when we had some more additional space left. He was always very very punctual and responsive. He gave us an initial quote once we agreed on the scope and scheduled an install once the drawer he ordered came in. Overall, the process was very smooth and quick. I love how our new microwave cabinet turned out.

BEST CARPENTER IN THE WORLD!! I am absolutely thrilled that I found Ken & his team. Firstly, he is so prompt! Ken drove over right away to see the space first hand and talk about my ideas the day I contacted him for a quote. Did I mention he randomly tried fixing my broken hinge on my front door when he noticed it was cracked? He is an absolute sweetheart🥹. Secondly, he listened to my ideas but came up with even better ones. He is clearly a pro🙌🏼. From types of exotic woods, to finishing techniques to the best mounting options- I was absolutely blown away with his expertise. He took control of the project while keeping me up to date through the process. This custom built pot rack is honestly, hands down, my favorite thing in my entire home. It is literally a work of art itself, built with high quality solid wood and has transformed my kitchen. I’ve had about 10 friends and family members come see it, and everyone’s jaws hit the floor! I can’t recommend him enough and if you’re looking for a carpenter, don’t bother looking any further, square roots carpentry is 100% the best decision you can make. How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ever since I was a little kid I always enjoyed fixing stuff and improving things around the house. I realized that I was good at what I do at the age of 16 and I figured that this was what I wanted to do. I enjoy helping people and I love building and fixing stuff. It's a win, win for me.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs that we get are kitchen remodeling and bathroom remodeling jobs. We do alot of custom kitchens, basements, bathrooms, additions, and general repair jobs as well.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that you are as detailed as possible about the services you're looking to have performed. Include specifications about product quality, colors, textures, etc. This way there will be less questions and confusion later on. Also be clear on your budget before shopping for fixtures, materials, etc.
