FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is built on transparency and value. We charge a flat diagnostic fee to identify the issue, which is waived or applied toward the total cost if you choose to move forward with the repair. We provide a detailed, all-inclusive quote (parts and labor) upfront so there are no surprises on your final bill. To help our community, we also offer discounts, as well as seasonal specials for multi-appliance maintenance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we work with a new customer, our priority is to provide a seamless, transparent experience that gets your home back to normal quickly. Our typical process follows these six steps: Initial Consultation: When you first reach out to us, we gather details about your appliance's brand, model, and specific symptoms. This helps us pre-diagnose the issue so our technician arrives prepared with the right tools and likely parts. Scheduled Arrival: We provide a clear service window and often send an "on-my-way" text so you aren't stuck waiting all day. On-Site Diagnosis: Our technician performs a comprehensive inspection using specialized tools to pinpoint the root cause of the malfunction. Transparent Estimate: Before any work begins, we provide a detailed, written quote covering both parts and labor. We'll also advise if a repair is more cost-effective than replacing the unit. Expert Repair: With your approval, we perform the repair. Many common fixes are completed on the spot because we keep our service trucks fully stocked. Testing & Cleanup: We thoroughly test the appliance to ensure it’s functioning perfectly and clean up our work area before we leave.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
EPA Section 608 Certification: This mandatory federal certification allows our technicians to safely handle and repair systems containing refrigerants, such as refrigerators and freezers. Specialized Technical Training: Our technicians often complete vocational or trade school programs specifically focused on electrical systems, gas components, and mechanical troubleshooting. Manufacturer-Specific Training: We participate in direct training from major brands to ensure we are experts in the specific diagnostic software and repair protocols for the newest smart appliances. Continuous Education: Because appliance technology changes rapidly, we engage in regular continuing education to maintain our certifications and stay current on energy-efficient repairs.
