Repair was completed quickly and he was a nice guy. Biggest complaint is that I was told about the service charge and that based on the description of my problem a part probably wouldn't cost much, but not told about the additional labor fee on top of the service charge, so it wound up being about $100 more than I thought.

Hired to fix LG refrigerator that stopped cooling. TEC came over and said that they will fix it. Spent 30 min or so and then charged 325 (!) saying they replaced a relay and in 4-8 hours it will start cooling. If not it might be a compressor and the cost will be 1200-1600. (!) Long story short, the refrigerator still didnt work. I called TEC, they did refund a portion 125 as their fix did not fix the problem. I then called LG and they came and fixed the compressor under LG warranty. It is well known that LG compressors are covered for 10 years and are known to break. TEC should have known that. But the worst part is that the relay work that TEC did actually broke the fridge even more. The harness was completely ripped apart. It was a botched up work causing us additional 200+ for labor and 4 more days to wait for the part from LG to fix the harness. LG specialist was astonished to see this fire hazard work and said that this was very bad. Overall I cant recommend TEC - they broke the refrigerator more. This is not good. Stay away!!
