- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our custom pricing is based on guest count, event duration, bar style, and staffing needs, so we tailor a package to fit your unique vision & budget. A small, non-refundable deposit secures your date, staff, and insurance coverage. We offer flexible options for additional staff, custom cocktails, and equipment rental.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Right off the bat, we start by asking questions to get to know your event and your preferences. This could happen in a single conversation or multiple exchanges with you, your planner, or your venue... whatever it takes to make sure we fully understand your vision. The more we know, the better we can execute a seamless, stress-free experience on the day of your event. Once the details are confirmed, we require a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit to hold your date, secure staff, and extend our insurance coverage for your event. The deposit is modest, but it guarantees your spot on our calendar and allows our team to commit fully to flawlessly executing your event. This ensures that your event is protected, staffed, and ready to go, no matter the size and at any time of year.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At The Traveling Tender, expertise meets professionalism. Our founder began in high-end, full-service dining under the mentorship of the International Catering Association founder and has since trained in the U.S. and Europe, earning a Master of Mixology award in Chicago. We maintain a culture of continued learning, regularly attending industry seminars and workshops to stay ahead of trends in craft cocktails, service, and event staffing. Our team holds top certifications... BASSET, ServSafe, CRT Tequila Mastery, hold USBG memberships, and are alumni of Bar Methods (NY) and Bar Institute (global).
