SCAMMER - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We agreed on a set cost for the scope of work, which involved me buying/supplying finishes, lighting, and appliances. Reece promised us a 1 month timeline. Currently we are 3+ weeks over schedule, the scope still is not finished, and he continually asks for more money, even having left the job site entirely (even though we have paid him in full and more). We were forced to move into the condo yesterday, and even though he promised to have the wood floors installed in two days, it took his team that amount of time to install just in the master bedroom. Currently the entirety of my life is shoved into one room and I’m sleeping on the floor of my other apartment. His laborers destroyed multiple items on site, left huge messes, flooded the downstairs units , left cigarettes out on several occasions, and broke items I’ve purchased and claimed “it came like that” even though I’ve seen them throwing them around recklessly. Any work that has been completed is absolutely sloppy, sub-par and has been re-done multiple times. Right now he currently has abandoned the job site claiming we haven’t paid him (even though we’ve paid nearly 10k over the agreed amount including paying for materials) and we have no idea where our cabinet doors are which we’re supposed to be painted. Avoid this man at all costs. He is a fraud who lies through his teeth with ease. I don’t know how he sleeps at night. We are currently seeking legal action against him due to this experience (and due to the fact that he has abandoned the job).
