Working with Laura was a great experience. I was skeptical at first whether we could really find pieces for our new living room that were both beautiful and practical (we have a very active two-year-old), but Laura proved to me it can be done. Her proposals were beautiful and followed the guidelines we discussed (modern, affordable, toddler-friendly), and, in the event my husband and I didn't love something, she took those comments and changed up her recommendations. I love entertaining in my new living and dining areas, and my son spends all his time in his "nook" that Laura designed for us. Laura is talented, responsive, and just pleasant to work with in general. She is a great partner to add beauty and function to your home.Dec 10, 2016
I elicited the assistance of outline interiors for the purpose of completely changing the look of both my bedroom and guest room. There was a ton of work to be done with regards to painting, carpet, removal of installed structures, etc. Laura is extremely professional, always available, and prompt with getting the job done in an efficient manner. Not to mention, the design ideas are phenomenal and she has taken what I envisioned to a whole new level. This has exceeded my expectations and I hope to work with outline interiors on future projects!Apr 12, 2016Verified

Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Outline Interiors bills an hourly fee for time spent on the project, as well as a small design fee on items specified and purchased through us.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to meet with the client first to get a better sense of their project scope, aesthetic preferences, budget, and overall personality. Following this meeting, I submit a design contract for review that details the billing structure, confirms the scope, and includes an estimated time billing amount. Once the contract is confirmed and signed, I begin drawings, sourcing items and schedule the first design presentation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor's of Science in Interior Design, cum laude from Texas Christian University. My experience working for some of the top firms in country based in NYC and Chicago have really prepared me for any situation.
