My diverse background allows me to adapt to any project. I studied photojournalism at Southern Illinois University and am based in Chicago. I have collaborated with a variety of publications, design firms, corporations, and advertising clients. In 2003, I was honored with the Peter Lisagor Award for Photojournalism Excellence. I began photography at the age of 10 when my parents sent me to Poland to visit family. My aunt gave me a camera, and I have been hooked ever since. (I am a License 107 Drone pilot.)

Our experience with John was fabulous. He went above and beyond for us by working through the permit requirements for the location we picked. He even went, the weekend before, to do some spot scouting and sent us pictures. He talked to us a couple of times prior to help us figure out what to wear and props to bring. During the shoot John was incredibly personable and made us feel comfortable. He gave excellent tips during the shoot and paid attention to every little detail. We couldn't be more thrilled with how our pictures turned out.

Wow!
Service still exists in this world.
So many "photographers" today carry a Canon camera, MacBook Pro and a huge EGO! They think they know what they're doing but, they lack experience and their ego takes up the whole studio. The job ultimately becomes about them.
This is just not the case with John.
John delivered more than I could have asked for in a professional, efficient, sensible way. His down to earth attitude and sincere excitement made everyone on set comfortable. He was on time and under budget. He came up with some interesting concepts that I would have never thought of because he relied on his many years of experience and talent. No BS.
We got the shot and many other useful images. Plus he made it fun.
He won't waste your time or money.
