We offer wedding day-of coordination services for brides that have planned their wedding, but are looking for help implementing their big day. We specialize in DIY couples that have a vision and fantastic plan but need the details tied together by a professional! We will ensure nothing slips through the cracks, provide guidance and assist with executing all the special, little details so you and your guests can relax and enjoy your special day. We also provide full-service planning for couples looking for more hands-on assistance during the planning process. As a bonus, we also come with a Nikon DSLR camera to get extra shots of your special day (please note, this does not replace a professional photographer) and equipment for a DIY photo station (lighting, iPad, iPad stand and backdrop stand)! About the business: Our names our Kristen & Jill, two friends who originally met as coworkers, planning corporate events together. We founded Sofie & Olive Event Planning in 2016 because we love event planning but wanted a more personal experience with our clients than corporate planning provides - along with the ability to create beautiful and unique events, while getting our hands dirty with some creative DIY projects along the way! People frequently ask us “so which one of you is Sofie and which one of you is Olive?” And the answer is neither! Our business is named not after ourselves, but after two of our favorite people in the world - our dogs! Sofie is a mini Dachshund and Olive is a powder-puff Chinese Crested. Both of them love posing for photos for our website - but, no worries... that is the only role they play in our business ;) We love meeting new people and being able to help them create and celebrate one of the happiest days of their lives. We especially love working with creative couples to create unique, one-of-a-kind events that they will cherish for years to come. Kristen and Jill were amazing to work with and took care of any little anxiety I had on my day - they ran back to the hotel room to grab the corsages we left there, they ensured the officiant had our marriage license, coordinated with all of the vendors, had eyes on the guys so that I didn't run into the groom even as we did pictures at the same locations, made sure everything looked beautiful all night, and also put everything into our hotel room at the end of the night so we could just enjoy our after party instead of packing up. The value for their service is incredible. Worth every penny.

I honestly cannot say enough about Kristen and Jill!!! In short, my wedding would not have happened without them. I was quite annoying with my constant questions and they were exceedingly patient and kind with me the whole time. They are truly amazing!!!! HIRE THEM!!!!!!!!

Kristen and Jill decorated our reception venue BEAUTIFULLY! They met with us during our final walk-through of our reception venue and executed our vision for the space perfectly, truly breathing life into it. Their clever touches with the decorations and their artistic finesse really made a difference – we got TONS of compliments on the attention to detail in our decorations. Kristen and Jill were the perfect solution for us, as we were getting married and doing photos beginning at 1 PM, but we couldn’t get into our reception venue to begin set-up until 2 PM. We had originally planned a very DIY wedding, but Kristen and Jill saved the day by decorating our reception venue for us while staying respectful of our original vision. Plus, they were affordable. We highly recommend!!!
