They did a great job with our garage. Transformed an ugly, beat up concrete floor into a much nicer space. I highly recommend.

My garage floor was in poor condition with cracks and pits. Luke came out and explained what they needed to do he quoted the job and his price was competitive. We agreed, picked a color and he was willing to get my floor done in between jobs. Luis did a super job on the repairs and finish.

Our garage floor looks amazing. The crew that arrived the first morning did a great job clearing out the heavier items from the garage that we weren’t able to remove. Luke was very responsive in answering all of our questions before, during and after the project.

Details: Garage • 501 - 750 sq ft • No major cracks or chips in the floor • Residential

I am leaving this review to warn other homeowners before hiring this company. My experience started off with promise, but quickly became one of the most stressful and poorly managed projects I have ever dealt with. I hired Luke and his team for an epoxy/metallic flooring installation for my basement. What was supposed to be a straightforward project turned into weeks of delays, rescheduled work days, repeated no-shows, and unfinished work. I have text documentation of constant “We’ll be there later today,” “We’re coming between 2–5,” “We’ll be there tomorrow,” “We’ll finish this week,” etc. Many of these visits never happened — and there were days where I waited all day and no one showed up or called. Even when the team came, the project was never completed as agreed. There were visible bubbles and imperfections in the coating, the floors were never re-sanded as promised, vents were not covered, and areas were missed completely. Multiple areas — including the closet and furnace room — remain unfinished. I was present, and camera footage confirmed that no sanding was done, despite Luke claiming otherwise. Another major issue is that none of the workers spoke English, which made it extremely difficult to communicate questions, corrections, and instructions. Because of that, every single issue had to go through Luke directly. Meanwhile, Luke was only present on the very first day to quote the project — after that, he was never onsite during work, yet continued messaging with promises of completion that never happened. The most alarming part of this entire job was the lockbox safety incident. After accessing my property, the crew left the lockbox unsecured without scrambling the code. I later entered the house and found someone inside. I had to call the police, which was extremely concerning and easily avoidable. Luke acknowledged this mistake in writing, but something this serious should never occur. In summary — the communication was inconsistent, deadlines were repeatedly missed, work was left unfinished, and the workmanship that was completed was not done to the standard I was promised. I was patient, flexible, and professional throughout the process, but the project never reached a proper or complete finish. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this contractor.

Midwest Slip Stop | All Concrete Coatings & Epoxy's reply
Hi Dominique, We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way about the project, and we appreciate the opportunity to respond. While we understand your frustrations, there are several points in your review that do not accurately reflect the full scope of what occurred. Throughout the project, our team worked to accommodate multiple changes, additions, and access limitations that were not part of the original agreement. Despite these challenges, we completed additional work—such as the extra areas you requested—at no added cost, even though matching the design in those spaces required multiple returns and additional labor and material. Regarding scheduling: coating systems cannot be installed on a fixed “8–4” construction schedule. Cure times, temperature, and humidity dictate when crews can be onsite. These conditions often shift day-to-day, and we communicated timelines based on the information available in real time. At no point did we abandon the project or refuse to return. It’s also important to clarify that Luke was onsite on three separate occasions, including two visits where you were present. The statement that he was only there on the first day is inaccurate, and we want to ensure the project timeline is represented correctly. As for the lockbox concern, once you notified us of the situation, we addressed it immediately. We had no way of knowing the code had not been scrambled afterward, and this was never intentionally left unsecured by our team. We take safety seriously, and we regret that the situation occurred—but the assumption that it was due to negligence on our part is not accurate. It’s clear there were misunderstandings and communication challenges throughout the project, and we wish those had been resolved before reaching this point. We stand by the work performed and the efforts made to complete additional items outside the original scope, all while maintaining professionalism and responsiveness. We are still willing to discuss any remaining concerns directly and work toward a fair resolution. Please feel free to contact us so we can move forward constructively.
