About
My background is in music theory and I've played multiple instruments throughout highschool years and a few years in the military. With me having a musical background this has been a natural and somewhat therapeutic experience. I am enjoying it and crave the need to dive further and further into DJing. To hire me is to hire someone with a huge fascination for the art of music as well as putting on a good show for you. At the present moment i do this part time. But my goal is to make this a full time profession. I love to see smiles on peoples faces and know that you helped put it there. Thats the best part, seeing people have a great time and look your way with a great big smile.

Larry was awesome! Initially, I was a little concerned because I had less than two weeks before my 50th birthday party. I had planned it for months and at the last minute decided to hire a DJ. Larry reassured me that the time crunch was not a problem. He extensively discussed the playlist that my guest and I would enjoy. He took all my suggestions and added some really great music I had not thought of. We conferred at least four times during the two weeks. He wanted to make sure he played music from all the genres I requested and my request was abundant. The evening of the party, Larry arrived promptly and was set up before the first guest arrived. He was very professional and he had the party rockin'. He was originally hire for six hours and because everything was going so well, I asked him to stay a few extra hours and he was willing and it did not break the bank. He was outstanding. I fully recommend Larry.

Was really impressed with DJ Ell-Ess. Gave my daughter a sweet 16 party and the kids really enjoyed the music. DJ Ell-Ess even played some music for us old heads! LOL. All in all, the event went well and was really satisfied with the DJ. Thanks DJ Ell-Ess.

I hired this DJ to perform for our 25th Wedding anniversary celebration. He was able to do a mix along with the songs I submitted to him. I was really happy with the outcome. Very professional, on time and was dressed for the occasion. 5 stars aren't enough. It should be 10. I highly recommend this DJ.

Very very satisfied. He arrived early enough to set up and began the shoe. He did an extrodinary job with his play list. From R&B , Hip Hop to Lantin. Everything to keep the guest musically pleased. Great choice with the DJ, who kept the party alive. Very pleased with his service. Will definitely request him again.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I actually had no intention on becoming a dj in the beginning. My wife had been hiring dj's every year sometimes twice for parties, and i wanted to save money. So i did a little homework and searched for a " dj starter kit " that didnt cost too much. I would occasionally practice for fun and at one our parties people were asking me how much i would charge them to do dj their party. And the journey began.
