FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I charge no less than 3% total cost of dj equipment insurance per hour to ensure that I am able to at least cover a portion of my gear in case of an accident.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically write an email first or response to them in whatever format they wish (I.E. customer requests quote via text or phone call) and seek what their needs are. I assess if I can meet their needs and give them a quote based upon their request details. I then required a contract to be signed typically no later than 2 weeks from the service date.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started by collecting cds since I was a young child and had a very diverse and open-minded taste for music. I was inspired to learn how to dj from my cousins and uncles who already were in the business of djing family occasions such as Quinceneras & weddings. As a self-taught dj, I've learned to improve on the craft from constructive criticism and feedback. Because of my eagerness to constantly improve and network, I've had the privilege to dj at local bars and lounges in Chicago including Reverie Bar, La Finca Bar & Grill, 8fifty8 Lounge/Nightclub, Exit Bar, Fiesta Cantina Bar, and more. Plan on keeping the momentum going for summer 2017 and look forward to many of the special events to be celebrated through music!
