Introduction: In 2010, the Owner, Raheel Rafiq, was asked to host a wedding on account of his confidence Infront of an audience and his stage presence and after that event and many people letting him know that he could have a future in this business, MRR Productions was born. MRR Productions is the owners name, Mohammed Raheel Rafiq and it is a small company that aims to provide a service unlike any other. It was built on the values of trust, reliability, and above all perfection. Our goal in any type of event that we do is perfection, no matter the size, no matter the problem, and above all no matter the type of music. Being in the business for so many years if you choose to hire us, you are not hiring just a DJ, you are hiring a professional that knows that it is your first time planning your own wedding or your looking for something more for your party. We understand that you have a dream in mind and a budget to watch and we are here to help be as cost friendly as possible but offer you a level of service that is un-matchable across the board. Our DJ's are trained with exactly the mindset that we are there to both make your event as special as possible but to also be as self sufficient as possible. This is your special day and the last thing you need is for us to come bother you and ask what is next. We go through everything to help ensure that when that day comes we are ready and everyone is on the same page. We want to make sure that you have a picture perfect event with everyone dancing the night away and you remembering your special day for years to come. DJ.RRR is a professional and sweet person to work with, we hired him for my husbands 50th birthday. He reached out, we had a consultation and he asked about our taste in music, provided guidance and was so accommodating. I really appreciated his follow up and the ease with which his contract was done via email and his company website. Extremely professional!! Raheem was very responsive beginning with our initial contact. His operation is professional and leaves you with a sense of well being knowing that he is going to provide you with the best service. He arrived early, played excellent music all night, announced the costume contest, and the birthday song for my husband. I even told him he didn’t need to stay for the full time but he insisted and continued to play great music even though my guest were not downstairs. I would definitely hire Raheem again!

I hired MRR Productions for a Summer Resident Party at the apartment community I manage and he did an amazing job. The music was great, set up was on-time and quick. Mohammed was very respectful and easy to work with. My residents could not stop talking about how awesome the DJ and music was. I will be hiring him for all of my future events!

Hey Kalen, sorry for the thought that we did not call you but we did call and your phone went directly to voicemail without a mailbox being set up, so we could not leave a voicemail. We try to not pester prospective clients if they don’t answer the phone and we do schedule calls that go unanswered. When that happens we believe the client does not want to us or was just price hunting. We chose not to constantly call and bother the client because that’s just not how we do business unfortunately. All in all, we hope the dj you choose for your event is awesome and hope you have an awesome event.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing structure that we have is very simple and non-expensive. We have a passion for what we do and it is a hobby of ours so we are not looking to make the price for our services expensive just reasonable.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we initiate a email message and once that is acknowledged then we initiate a google form for the client to fill out and from there we have a formal call to discuss everything in finer detail. After which we continue to use a editable google doc to continually make updates and changes as needed and then when the event comes around we have one final call to ensure everything is updated and correct and then we execute.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I run a bar and restaurant. I currently run the only Desi Comedy Show in Chicago which is the one of the best shows put together. I also am the creator of Chicago's Only Club Bollywood Night which had become one of the best Bollywood Club nights in Chicago. I have also been djing since 2010 and have been told plenty of times that I am great at reading crowds. The main thing about my mindset for being your DJ is that I am here to make your party more fun than you expect it to be, I am there for your taste in music and your type, and by keeping that mindset all of my clients have had a great experience.
