- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are $30/30 min, $45/45min and $60/hour. After the introductory lesson the student will have the option to sign up for a weekly lesson. At that point the lessons will be charged on a monthly basis. Lessons cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time are charged at full price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know the student's musical history, if any, and also an understanding of what makes him/her "tick". The student is able to get a sense of whether they feel comfortable with the studio and my teaching approach. There is no pressure and no strings attached. Come in for an initial lesson and decide from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing the drums since 1980 and have been teaching since 1992. I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston (Magna Cum Laude) and have been playing the drums professionally for over 30 years. I am a father of two adult children and my experience in raising kids greatly enhanced my teaching ability.
