FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will most likely have a quick consulting session prior to the shoot, plus a few emails as well with very detailed info and instructions for your shoot, ranging from location details (often with parking instructions) to wardrobe help and suggestions.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My love for photography goes way back to when I was in high school and I took a photography class. Not to date myself, but at that time I was learning with real film and developing photos in a dark lab, which was the coolest. I can recall how excited I was to experiment with capturing still-lifes and portraits of my friends and family, then eagerly awaiting the results while developing. Fast forward a couple decades, I decided to rekindle that excitement when I bought a Canon DSLR and started begging my friends and family to let me take photos of them again. This continued for a few years, and I continued upgrading my equipment and working hard to teach myself more and more, until my hobby eventually turned into a profession. And I’m proud to say I’m still learning and working hard to continue to advance my craft each and every day!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You need to feel a good vibe with your photographer so that you feel comfortable in front of the lens. I think it’s so important to have a good time, laugh a lot, and see what comes out the other side when you forget you’re even being photographed. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
