My true strength is candid/lifestyle photography. My approach is to make sure you're enjoying the expierence so that not only will your images be beautiful but so will the memory. A photo session shouldn't be stressful or a beating. A little southern charm goes a long way y'all. For wedding/events my style is journalistic and candid. You should enjoy your event so as your photographer I try to take the traditional posed photos quickly so that you can get back to your guest and party. When you view your event photos my goal is that you feel the love and emotion of your day through my candid approach. The people. I love getting to know people and sharing in such wonderful moments in your life. It's such a gift being entrusted to capture your standout moments. I approach it that I'm handling a precious gift to be enjoyed for years and generations to come. So thank YOU!

Carrie was awesome and very responsive. She took care of scoutIns location and also giving us suggestions on the clothing and props for the shoot. The photos turned out to be fantastic and everyone in my family just loved them.

Hired Carrie to do photography for a wedding, and she did a marvelous job. We contacted her on relatively short notice, and she drove out from Chicago to the suburbs to meet up with us and discuss our questions and provide examples from her portfolio for us to see. She was a joy to meet, answered all our questions and seemed to have the exact style we were looking for, so we hired her. She came early the day of the wedding and took lots of prep shots, and was basically invisible during the ceremony and reception. (In fact, we had multiple people tell us that they didn't even know we had a photographer, or that they'd forgotten we'd hired one at all because they just didn't notice her -- she blended in so well and never got in the way of anything.) The photos themselves were absolutely fantastic, and she shared the first half of them (ceremony/family/bridal party photos) with us within a month of the wedding, and the second half (reception photos) followed about a week later. Very prompt! She was professional, responsive, and all-around amazing. I would definitely recommend her for any event, but from personal experience, she definitely knows what she's doing with weddings. Thank you Carrie!

Carrie was wonderful to work with. I was a little nervous hiring someone without a referral for my daughter's wedding, but Carrie exceeded expectations. As this was a small intimate affair, we wanted more candid shots instead of the typical poses. You couldn't even tell she was there, but she managed to capture the best moments and expressions, and it was obvious that everyone was having a wonderful time in the images she shot. We were so impressed that we hired her again for a newborn session with our new granddaughter, and she didn't disappoint. I would highly recommend Carrie for any special event you want photographed.

We hired Carrie for an intimate wedding of 80 people. Unfortunately our families did not enjoy their pictures being taken so we needed a photographer that was kind of invisible and not intrusive Carrie fit that requirement perfectly. She quickly took the pictures, with professionalism and southern kindness. You immediately felt comfortable with her. Her direction with our large families was swift and quiet.... And she has the ability to bring together a group of people (kids) quickly for a perfect picture. I would hire Carrie again without question. The quality of the pictures made everyone happy. She caught the essence of the wedding and the day perfectly. Our blended family is very happy. Thank you Carrie!

Carrie was so patient with our little girl and worked to make sure she was comfortable but still getting the best shot. Carrie did a bunch of different set ups, bows, and poses so we could have tons of great pictures to choose from. The pictures are gorgeous and everyone that has seen them comments on how stunning they are. She was great with communication and super easy to schedule. We will definitely be working with Carrie again!
