Hello! My name is Alex, and I'm a full-time photographer based in Chicago, specializing in portraits, engagements, and intimate weddings. After years in the finance industry, I decided to pursue my true passion and left that world behind to focus entirely on capturing life's special moments through my lens. I shoot with a Sony A7V that has a dual slot memory card, so if one fails, I have a backup! I do not set caps on the amount of photos you will receive. If there are good ones, you can have them! All edited photos will be uploaded to an online gallery for you to download and print for your own use. I do not have a studio and prefer in customer home photos or outside.

I had such a joyful experience working with Alex! My fiancé and I had an engagement session with her, and we were both very pleased with how the photos turned out. The photo shoot took place in the Winter Garden of the Harold Washington Library, (it was too cold to take many photos outside) and it was fun to see how excited Alex was to shoot there for the first time. I would love to work her again when/if the opportunity arises.

Alex was integral in creating a magical evening planning a surprise engagement. We were traveling from out of state and knew exactly how to navigate the photoshoot and best angles of the most popular places. 

She was very available prior to the event and understood the importance of punctuality when it came to making the surprise happen.

I'd like to specifically highlight her attention to detail in her photo editing. We did our engagement at the Bean. She was sure to crop her self out of the Bean reflection (as the photographer) and really captured the moment.
