This was a multi part review as there are things they did well, things I later noticed later that were not so well. 1. 5 stars on repair work was great, our front balconies were falling apart, and no one would fix it. Mostly because you need special insurance for balconies because of the elevation. I give them 5 stars on this part of the job, it wasn't easy finding someone willing to fix it. They did a good job on a difficult job. 2. 4 stars on repainting the metal balconies and stairs front and back of the condominium. 3. 2 stars on replacing the deck's, we asked for trex composite, but later I come to find out it was installed wrong, they screwed directly through the top of the boards, when they were supposed to use hidden fasteners which it was design for. Initially thought in my ignorance it looked great, but realized we spent a lot of extra money for those boards only to be installed like they were wooden planks. Also noticed they cut corners a little by not using full length boards everywhere they could of. Overall my experience was ok, but I would only hire them if I was going to be around to monitor them while they work( I was out of town, my neighbors would be at work all day). They need someone to check the quality of the work internally, I'd rather not have to do it given I don't know a lot of how things should be done the right way. In term's of time, It also took a little over a month to paint, replace the floor boards of a 3-4 floors front and back balconies, and repair the front vanity plates that were falling off. Some rain delays in May, we've had a lot in chicago this year.

We had to get these doors painted with a very short turnaround. Freddie was able to accommodate our timeline and get this done very quickly. The painter he sent was very nice and professional. Everything was done cleanly, and left in a better state than when the doors were first painted: the original painter never primed the wooden door!

Freddie did not deliver on time and did not complete the work, however, the work that was completed was satisfactory. We had requested he hang drywall and agreed on a flat rate for its completion. I requested he do half of the house and asked if we could split the cost in half to do half of the work, he agreed. The work took longer than he expected, he then requested additional payment despite agreeing to a flat rate. I refused and he refused to send workers, saying he had already reached a break even point on the job based on the agreed upon price and insisted that I pay an additional $440 per day to complete the work. This was after the project was already several days behind (including days they did not show up). I don't like posting a review like this, and the work that was completed was fine, but beware of the bait and switch with a flat rate. We would have actually paid a slightly higher amount for the work than he quoted, but the delays, then the demand for more money to finish was disappointing.
