I would highly recommend North Shore Granite Heroes to those that are considering a repair or cleaning of their granite and/or marble. We had very, very bad damage to our marble vanity caused from a vinegar cleaner. North Shore Granite Heroes came out and completely saved the day - our granite vanity is now looking like new. In addition to being professional, personable, and on time (all critical qualities when someone is coming into your house), they are also very knowledgeable and want to make sure the work is exceptional. I would highly recommend if you are looking to have marble or granite work completed.

"I thought my marble countertops needed to be replaced. I had so many etch marks and spots everywhere. After researching marble repair services I found Erik with Granite Heroes. Erik resurfaced my marble countertops and polished the marble back to their original factory finish. I also had him polish the marble floor in our mud room. I hired Granite Heroes to polish my marble kitchen counters and marble shower. My counters had etch marks everywhere and looked dull,the shower grout was starting to yellow and tiles looked dull. After Erik was done everything looked new!!!! He was on time , respectful and cleanup after he was done the rooms looked like work was ever done!!!!!!! Already scheduled my next maintenance appointment.

Im a contractor in Chicago and I use Granite Heroes on a variety of projects for my clients. I have hired them to restore a vintage terrazzo floor, resurface & polish marble countertops in 2 of my clients kitchens. Having a contractor who consistently fix's marble or granite floors, showers & countertops gives my clients a great value in addition to my remodeling services. I don't have to replace a spotty vanity I can just have them come and repair it for cheaper. I also was not aware how important it is to seal your stone. Our travertine floors were dull and lifeless. There were areas where the grout was dirty and brittle and some tiles were stained and cracked. I am extremely happy with the results of their work. The foyer, bathroom, shower and countertops all look amazing. I would highly recommend this company for any stone repair job that you have.They definitely have the knowledge and expertise but most importantly they know how to treat their customers exceptionally well.

Our Pricing is per job. We take into account the length or time of the project. The skilled labor required. Supplies, travel expenses and basic marketing and operating costs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we like to be attentive to their project request. Having over 15 yrs of experience gives us a solid foundation of knowledge, tour-guideing and trouble shooting any project hurdles or curveballs that may come our way. Its important to meet with the client and see the project 1st hand. Establishing a fun dependable report with our clients is part of the "Granite Hero Experience."
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Stone restoration actually runs in our family. Learned how to polish marble as a kid with my uncle who was a stone mason. After college my computer degree didn't appeal to my career so i decided to pursue the family trade for a living.
