I was really hoping for a positive experience, but it was not. I received several quotes from numerous people, and made a decision to go with this company to do work on my deck and also some power washing around the property. Response time was very quick, and he was very anxious to come out that weekend, even though it was a high probability of rain. I told him exactly what I wanted done which was removing peeling paint on the deck and repair wood that was rotting. I specifically asked him that any kind of primer or water stain was needed to put on the deck so I wouldn't have issues with it peeling again, and he repeatedly assured me that it would be okay, and he was using a high quality paint that had a stain. Should have trusted my gut at this point and just declined the services, but I proceeded. He power washes the deck and essentially just left all kinds of peeled paint everywhere. My yard and my neighbor's yard. I also went outside and noticed from him moving his tools back and forth that quite a few of my landscape lights were damaged as well, completely unacceptable. Air compressor was used to paint on the unsanded, unprimed deck..... After completion, there were several spots that weren't painted, which I'm sure there weren't two coats applied to most of it. Also, left around were napkins with paint on it that I'm assuming it was used to wipe it from something just laying around my landscaping. If you're going to do work at somebody's house, you should take the same care for it as you would do your own. So the cherry on top on top of the deck being half finished and the paint is already peeling! The same high quality paint that he said that wouldn't.... And also, whatever he used to do the power washing damage my grass and my neighbor's grass as well. When I told him that it was damaged, he tried to explain that his products are water-based and wouldn't have caused that damaged. The huge brown spots of dead grass and my security footage says different. I'll take very meticulous care of my grass and all along the edges where the power washer was used my grass was Brown. The spot where he had buckets and his power washer was sitting, dead grass! So essentially I wasted $2,400 to turn around to have to hire someone else to redo the work that was half done. I reached out to see if you can come complete the work and he kept telling me "Oh next week, I just ordered side for your grass and I can install that for you and I can repaint the deck...." Pretty much a month and a half passed and nothing was done until I just asked him for some of my money back. He said he was out of town and was sent it to me in a couple of days. I reached out to him in a couple of days, and he asked if I can give him a week, I agreed. He finally sent me money back, $200 lol. So I have to replace landscape lighting, I have to repair my grass and my neighbor's grass, I have to clean up all of the wood, paint shavings, and other trash that was left around the property, and I have to paint or hire someone else to redo the paint job that he did. All in all, I wouldn't recommend. If he was a man of his word and came out and made fixing the mistakes and prioritizing it the same way he did when he took the job, he would have never gotten this review. Do better....
