Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I started this side business when I was a graduate student to help pay for school. Right now, I am a stay-at-home parent as well. I specialize in the jobs that you don't have the time or tools for and are too small to hire a contractor. I learned most of my handyman skills from my father, who built our house and from working on my own place. My client list is small because of my other responsibilities with parenting and school, but those clients use my services repeatedly because of my friendly personality and honesty. If a job is too big or complicated for me, I'll tell you so. I am not bonded and just have personal insurance. It is how I keep your and my costs down. This business isn't big enough to justify the cost of bonding and insuring.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Use your instincts. If something feels wrong about a service provider there probably is. When hiring someone who is going to be in your home you have to feel comfortable.
