Kelly did amazing job. He painted the ceramic tiles in our bathroom and hooked up a vanity medicine cabinet with led lighting. Job was done in perfection and timely manner. Helped us hook up vanity wall which did not have any wooden studs ( we had steel studs ).

I asked Forrest to shorten some pre-fabricated shelves as a part of a purchased shelving unit. He did a great job shortening the shelves and ensuring they'd fit the metal frame and space they were going into. Very responsive and the quality of work was high.

I recently hired Forrest to install trim throughout my condo, including door and window casings, baseboards, base shoe, and even build a custom window box. Additionally, he installed a beautiful custom tongue-and-groove facing for my fireplace, which had an existing mantle that required a creative solution to finish and work around. The finished product exceeded my expectations in every way. Forrest is a true craftsman, with impeccable attention to detail in every corner, joint, and edge. Not only did he expertly fit the baseboards and casings, but he also painted all of the trim with a flawless enamel finish, which elevated the entire look. He also painted all of the exposed beams and ductwork, making the space feel cohesive and refreshed. The tongue-and-groove fireplace facing added a sophisticated, timeless look to the living room, and the custom window box further showcased his skill and creativity. It’s clear he takes great pride in his work, and the results speak for themselves. One of the standout aspects of working with Forrest was his excellent communication throughout the project. From the start, he made sure to understand my vision and offer suggestions where needed. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial phone call or text to go over project details and determine wether or not an in person estimate is necessary. Often times I can send a quote over the phone. Most quotes I send are via pdf text or e mail along with my insurance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Multiple years apprenticing with journeymen and master carpenters on construction team. Multiple years working on a professional painting crew.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up learning from my father doing all of the remodels and upgrades on my childhood home in Evanston IL. I then moved on to work along side master carpenters and painters in many project contexts as an assistant. I eventually branched off and created my own business.
