Could not recommend Forrest enough. He is so kind and knowledgeable about what he does. The measurements I gave him for the topper on our ikea shoe cabinet were too tight (our wall has subtle curves), so I asked him to cut a new piece vs try to make the old piece work and it has made our shoe cabinet look SO custom. He chose the perfect type of wood to fit our home. We get sooo many compliments on it. Hire him!!

Forrest was awesome to work with and I highly recommend him. We had a project to put wainscoting on an accent wall and paint an office - he did excellent work. He was very communicative, provided a fair estimate (with no changes to it at any point), and got the job done in the time he said he would. The white walls are what we started with then ended with the navy finishes - I would definitely hire him again

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial phone call or text to go over project details and determine wether or not an in person estimate is necessary. Often times I can send a quote over the phone. Most quotes I send are via pdf text or e mail along with my insurance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Multiple years apprenticing with journeymen and master carpenters on construction team. Multiple years working on a professional painting crew.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up learning from my father doing all of the remodels and upgrades on my childhood home in Evanston IL. I then moved on to work along side master carpenters and painters in many project contexts as an assistant. I eventually branched off and created my own business.
