From the moment I walked into the home studio, I could tell that Andrew was approachable while maintaining a professional stance. He was easygoing when it came to everything from scheduling the shoot, collaborating with ideas swinging back and forth, to executing the shoots themselves. He was reliable, punctual, and very down to earth/relaxed, with the ability to provide a makeup artist with enough notice and some (suggested - this is their profession!) dividends! I'll be scheduling further shoots in the future, you should too!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to converse with the customer throughout the entire process and make them feel as welcome and comfortable as possible. I like to have mirrors set up as well in order for the model(s) to see what type of gestures or expressions they are providing in order to capture the best work possible. Periodically, I will show the client the images we are capturing so that we can create a strategy for moving forward and both of us can gauge the quality of the process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken photography classes in the past, however a majority of my training has been through experience and exploration.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began photography using an old Minolta 35mm film camera in high school as an elective art course and fell in love.
