Jose communicated very well when an accident kept his staff from arriving at the scheduled time. He found an alternate person to complete the job the same day and she did a very thorough cleaning for my uncle's apartment. I would definitely recommend Jose's Cleaning Service!

I would give ZERO stars if I could! Beware of this company. I booked a cleaning service to begin same day at 3pm. I clearly explained the size of my house and what needed to be done. I received a quote of $270 and a confirmation. At 3:45 I asked when we should expect the cleaners to arrive as they were already a half an hour late. The person answering the phone says he can’t give me an eta so I explained that the cleaners must have had to put my address in the gps which means an eta should be readily available. He then said that the cleaners were taking an Uber which is why they can’t give me an eta. As we all know, Ubers have eta’s so I explained as much. He then asked me the size of my house (which I had already provided but did so again) and said “what’s your budget?” I don’t understand this question as I was already given the estimate. I explained that I got the estimate through thumbtack and that’s what we agreed to. He said “thumbtack is always wrong”. To be clear, this isn’t my experience. Every vendor I’ve used through thumbtack had honored the price quoted. He then said “this is going to cost you $800.” He tried to claim this massive price increase was due to needing to bring an additional cleaner out. We all know that whole an additional person adds another body to pay, it decreases the number of hours the people spend cleaning so this should not effect the bottom line and it most certainly shouldn’t add almost $500 to the bill. After he attempts to quote me $400 (still more than the original quote) and vouch it as if he’s giving me a deal, he finally agrees to the original $270. However, his cleaners never show up nor does he answer my calls or messages on thumbtack. It is very clear that he didn’t want to come out to our home because they were running so late so he attempted to get more money out of us after realizing that we were desperate and in need of cleaners asap. Once he realized i wasn’t a complete idiot, he just decided he was going to blow us off. Don’t use these guys. They can’t be trusted!
