I have worked on 4 homes with Krista. She consistently understands what I'm trying to achieve. She is super responsive and can shop at every price point. I have gorgeous custom made pieces (designed by her) to pillows she finds at HomeGoods. Krista is fun to work with and always comes in on budget (unless I blow it). She has helped me with new construction, rehabbing and refacing. Her talent is an awesome value.

Krista has worked on three interiordesign projects for me. She listened to the style I was looking for and presented several terrific options. She selects furniture, accessories and color schemes that compliment the spaces perfectly. I definitely recommend her.

Please accept my highest recommendation, without reservation, of Krista Boersma of Fusion InteriorDesign, Inc. I interviewed Krista in 2016 to assist me with my condo renovation. A major aspect of that renovation was new construction of my master bathroom. The renovation also included a complete electrical upgrade, new custom buffets for the dining room, upgrade guest bathroom, crown molding throughout, painting throughout, new construction of a fireplace built-out in the living room, new furniture and textiles, and placement of artwork. I had no prior relationship with Krista, nor have I ever interviewed or hired an interiordesigner. From our first meeting, I could see that Krista was a consummate professional with great design vision. I informed Krista that my budget was tight and she was forthcoming with ways in which to stay within my budget. More importantly, she was honest in letting me know in order to meet my design goals, the budget might have to increase and she was mindful every step of the way how and where to cut costs without diminishing the look of the design. Krista's services as an interiordesigner were invaluable. An important reason for hiring a designer is that I did not want to interview and/or deal with contractors. She has strong organizational skills and her commitment to follow-through are assets which enabled her to graciously juggle the extensive details involved in my project. Moreover, the contractors Krista assigned to my project were knowledgeable, skilled, and competent in their respective trades. Always professional and offered useful suggestions where needed. Krista's quality of work, the management and coordination of her crew, the management of my project and her attention to detail has far surpassed my expectations. Her work ethic was evident at our first meeting and I was comfortable allowing Krista and her crew access to my home while I was at the office. Krista kept me informed of work crew schedules, delivery dates, and projected completion dates of different phases of my project. Whether by phone or email, she was always clear, informative, helpful and easily accessible. If I had a question or needed an opinion or a suggestion, she would respond to my inquiries right away. During my project, a few unforeseen issues arose and Krista took the lead and resolved them prior to contacting me. Krista's commitment to homeowner satisfaction was evident in her actions. Simply put, I could not have proceeded with my condo renovation without her. Oftentimes during the construction I became overwhelmed and it was Krista who kept me steady and told me it would be okay. To quote her directly she would say, "I'll handle it" and she always came through. She is a wonderful, funny, interesting, very smart individual with great vision and it was my pleasure to work with her. The final result of my condo renovation is much more than I expected! I remember saying to Krista at our first meeting that I wanted a style different than I currently had and it would be okay to take me out of my comfort zone. She did just that and I love it!

Working with Krista was the best decision we’ve made when we decided to renovate our house. She tailored her design to our needs an preferences adding her designer touch. She took care of everything, from helping us to choose the materials, ordering them and mediating with contractors. The process was smooth and painless. What I love about Fusion is how Krista, in her kind but honest approach, helped me to see where I was going wrong. She didn't rely on my ability, or lack thereof, to visualize, but created for me concrete plans, showing me exactly how my space could look. She helped me out of my box/rut, which I so desperately needed - I'm soooo grateful! She also didn't design my house for her, she understood my style (and my husband's), which isn't easy, and made our space reflect both of us. Krista is so much fun to work with and we're never going it alone again! We highly recommend Fusion!!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically starts with a brief discussion on phone to introduce myself and my company to them, obtain more details about project, explain how I work with clients, overview of the design process and schedule a walk through of their project space, so that I can obtain a scope of services in order to let them know what the estimated design services would cost should they decide to move forward and hire Fusion Interior Design Inc.

I did an internship during my last semester in college with a hospitality design firm. When my internship was coming to an end, I was offered a permanent position with the design firm and hired as an interior designer.
