Hired on Thumbtack

We were so lucky to find PowerSmith Design on Thumbtack. We hired Tana and Adam to redo our very small and inefficient kitchen in our condo. This was a space that two people could not work in at the same time. The new space is open and bright and even has more storage than we know what to do with. They were patient when we couldn't make up our minds, persuasive when we wanted to stay safe and boring, smart and intuitive when planning the space and reassuring when we thought we were way over our heads. We call them the "room whisperers" and are absolutely delighted with our new, totally awesome kitchen!

PowerSmith Design is fantastic. We originally hired the designers to do paint selection for our living room, but ended up expanding the scope and remodeling the kitchen instead. We were so impressed after the first meeting. Tana and Adam are extremely pleasant to work with and handled all of our requests and last minute changes in stride. Their insight into design is second to none. Not to mention the two are creative, energetic, and pay close attention to detail. They take your vision and make it beyond expectations.

Quick background - I am in Sales and travel quite a bit, and would say I live a pretty busy life. While remodeling my kitchen was something very important to me, I had no idea what I wanted, and no time to figure it out. Tana and Adam from PowerSmith Design completely took this project on, and made it easy, effortless, and most important to me, fun. None of that was predictable given the amount of angst and concern I had going into this whole project. Their eye for design, detail, and their ability to recreate my vision was impeccable not to mention impressive. The kitchen reno was done in less than 4 weeks and was SO smooth. I'm madly in love with my new kitchen and can't wait to figure out what reno / design project is next that I can ask them to sink their teeth into!
