Introduction: I am a graphic designer based in the Chicago area. In 1996, I was part of the opening team for CNN en Español, working as a broadcast designer in animation graphics while at the same time attending Portfolio Center, a specialized design school in Atlanta. After completing my studies in 2000, I moved to Chicago to pursue a career in print design. In Chicago, I worked for the following design studios: VSA Partners, Norman Inc., and SGDP.
Currently, I am a part-time freelance independent graphic designer and a full-time senior designer at Crate and Barrel corporate offices. Throughout my career, I had the opportunity to gain experience working with both the private and the non-profit sectors, both as a freelancer and as a full-time employee.
I developed design solutions for IBM, Cingular, DePaul University, LaSalle Bank, Morris Animal Foundation, Allstate Insurance, the National Immigrant Justice Center, The Iraq Program Assisting Victims of Gender-Based Violence (both programs of Heartland Alliance), and The Chicago Bar Foundation.
