Makeup First might be a good school but the artists are not professional AT ALL. They are basically children

A. The customer must be sure that the makeup artist have sufficient training and experience in the principles of color theory, light theory, and highlight and shadow. The customer should also ensure that the artist be dependable and easy to work with.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. The consumer should know the educational background as well as the training experience of the makeup artist. The consumer should also be able to find an artist to whom they can communicate their needs and have the job successfully accomplished. Finally, the consumer should find an artist who is not only skilled, but is available and personable.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Buyers should talk with my previous customers and students and seek information regarding my skills, work ethic and skills. By doing their research, consumers will come to the artist with confidence that they will be more than satisfied with the services.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love my "job" because it does not feel like "work"! While everyday is different, everyday is the same; this is the confidence-building industry and there is nothing better than to make others feel great about themselves!
