It's very important to preview your makeup look prior to your event. During your consultation, be specific about how you envision your look and work with your artist to achieve this. Also, review the artist's previous work to ensure that their style represents what you are looking for. Lastly, price does matter, however, just because an artist is offering makeup services for a reduced price does not necessarily mean you are receiving the best deal. If you are looking for a professional makeup application, be reasonably generous with yourself. A cheap makeup application will definitely show through in your photos, and if it is for a memorable occasion those photos will last a lifetime.
