FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I utilize a $25 a square foot pricing model for general quotes. This is a close approximation of the final price, but may vary based on detail, density, and timeline for execution of the design.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have an initial meeting with the client, in which they describe their ideas for the mural/design, a description of the space in which it will be executed, timeline, and any other details relevant. If they do not have a clear idea and would like inspiration, I will provide samples for us to discuss. I will then create a series of thumbnail sketches that the client and I will review together - discussing which thumbnails they are reacting positively to, and which elements of each sketch they like and dislike. I will then take the information gathered from this meeting to create a detailed color rendering showing the client exactly what will be portrayed in their mural/design. They will then have the opportunity to request any changes or alterations, which will be made to the design before the execution.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in fine art and a MFA in scenic design. I am trained in faux-finish painting, murals, theatrical scenic painting, chalk art, and fine art. I have learned in an educational environment as well as a professional one, and am delighted to learn and grow with every project.
