Responds in about 19 min

Introduction: I win because I genuinely care about my clients. I obtained one of the largest verdicts in Illinois history in the case of Gant v. City of Chicago. Gant was a very difficult case involving a dispute over the length of time involved in the City of Chicago responding to a 911 call for an 18 year old asthmatic young man, who ultimately died due to the delay in the response. Despite only receiving an offer of $50,000 to settle the case prior to trial, the jury awarded a verdict of $50,000,000 for the boy’s family. This verdict was featured in the NATIONAL LAW JOURNAL as one of the most noteworthy verdicts in the United States that year. More recently, I was featured in local and national newsmedia, including the TODAY show for my work in the case of Miller-Parrish v. Center for Reproductive Health.

While I didn’t work directly with Paul McMahon, he did help a friend. This firm’s incentive structure is really cool because attorneys only get paid when they win. They encouraged my friend to hang in for the long run in his injury case, and he actually got a bigger payout than he would have with the other attorney he talked to, who was paid hourly. These are the “good guys” and you definitely want Paul on your team!!

I had a phenomenal experience working with Paul McMahon. He truly listened and had my best interest at heart, and he led with that in everything he did. This made the process so much less stressful and the end result much better than I could have hoped. I felt so taken care of and in such good hands - cannot recommend him enough!

Paul McMahon could not have been more courteous and professional when helping us with our case. He made us feel welcome and I felt I could trust him from the very start. His team was very thorough and hardworking. They exceeded our expectations and Paul was prepared to answer all our questions immediately or within a day. He is without a doubt the most capable and trustworthy lawyer I have ever met, and we are so grateful he was able to help us through such a difficult case.

Mr. McMahon thoughtfully listened to my case and immediately made me feel like I was well taken care of. He told me what actions my case would require, and then walked me through the process step by step. We were able to settle more quickly then I could’ve imagined. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My firm will never charge you a dime for any of the time we spend with you. Our fees are solely based upon when we succeed. We receive one third of any settlement or verdict we obtain for you, and we risk all of the costs involved in obtaining that successful result for you.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Initially by phone. Hopefully you can contact us as soon as possible after an accident, which provides us with the opportunity to obtain evidence that might otherwise be lost to prove your case. We do the work that needs to be done to protect you, letting you focus on your healing and treatment.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I received my law degree in 1992, and have tried and settled cases involving serious injuries and death every year since, from plane crashes, truck accidents, medical negligence cases, construction accidents to fender benders and slip and falls.

Not what you’re looking for?

No problem: we have pros for every job.
