Hello Families,
I have been teaching piano lessons and music classes for more than 10 years. I love music and would love to help our next generation know more deeply about music because I know how music can change one's life.
I help my students love music and become a more confident person. Through years of piano studies, my students will be able to face more challenges, solve problems on their own, think more creatively, and play music more happily. :)
I offer my students various performance opportunities - piano studio recitals twice a year, music festivals, AIM (Achievement in Music) test curriculum and competitions.
I mostly teach at my home studio, but sometimes I could also travel around. Please feel free to reply with any questions and schedule a lesson with me. Looking forward to hearing back to you!

My 4 years old son has been taking private lessons with shihui. She is very patient, and I can see my son's improvements after each classes with her. Strongly recommend her to all kids who needs to learn piano, I swear you will love her just like I do.

Both of my daughters (ages 10 and 13) are so excited to have ShiHui as their new teacher. She is kind and encouraging while keeping pace with advancing their skills. After a long and extensive search for the right fit for our girls, ShiHui is answered prayer. Pedagogue was a huge reason why we chose ShiHui. She is not only an amazing pianist but also a fantastic teacher. We can hear the rekindled love in our girls' playing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the first trial lesson, students get to know me and my teaching style, and I know better about the students as well. This helps me decide what materials to use, lesson length, teaching method, etc. before we officially start. Parents can also communicate with me at the trial lesson.
