Introduction: Hi, I'm Zach! I live on Chicago's west side in Humboldt Park. I still can't believe I get to be a photographer in my favorite city. My dream job in my dream city? Come on! I've picked up a camera just about every day since I first fell in love with photography back in 2013. Though every shoot holds something unique, it takes a lot to catch me off guard after nearly a decade in business. My interests are all over the place, so I can't wait to see what we have in common! Will we connect over lit, music, or film? Maybe motorcycles or hiking. Might be mixology or cooking. Or we can compare tattoos! I'm sure we'll find something. I pride myself on my ability to quickly connect with my clients, making them feel comfortable, cared for, and confident that they look great. I’m good at going with the flow: not every event I’m at goes exactly according to plan and I know how to be flexible and roll with the punches. Being a helpful and calming presence in the midst of your wedding or event is second nature to me. Basically, I try to treat people how I want to be treated: with fairness and understanding! We found Zach on Thumbtack to shoot our engagement photos, and it was a great experience working with him! He is super personable, friendly and easy going. He is professional in his business and delivered high quality photos to us quickly. We felt Zach went above and beyond to deliver us gorgeous photos. He spent about double the amount of time as planned with us, and he delivered about double the amount of photos as promised. He accommodated shooting at two locations for us, and gave great direction in posing. We definitely recommend Zach for any other couples looking to get their engagements photos shot!

I booked Zach for a surprise proposal and he was awesome. The shots came out beautifully. He also has helpful advice because he has so much experience with proposals, weddings, etc. My now fiance is very particular for photos and even she approved of his work. Beautiful pictures, elegant and stylish. As for the photographer, he was willing to meet with us prior, adaptable, and creative when it came to getting the shots just right. The wedding photos were edited and given to us between 2 weeks after wedding. He was insightful, a good listener, and determined to get good shots but not at the expense of our wedding environment. Highly recommend, I will hopefully use him again.
