Introduction: Current certification for the following: U.S. Masters Swimming Adult Learn to Swim Instructor and American Red Cross Water Safety and Swim Instructor. Experience teaching clients across age groups, including those with special needs. Often times individuals are not aware of the skills that they already have before beginning swim instruction. I enjoy knowing that by teaching clients how to swim, I am also equipping them with the ability to save their own lives. My fee is for lessons so I ask the client to please indicate the # of lessons they wish to take as well as a mileage fee for round trip distances of more than 5 miles. Please let me know if free parking is available. I can base discounts on these three factors. Unfortunately, I do not have a pool where I can teach swimming. Therefore, I can only consider requests that have a pool available for instruction. Once you locate a pool, please do not hesitate to contact me again if I didn’t respond to your the first time due to no pool. Thank you!

I didn’t want to learn how to swim when I was little, now as an adult I finally want to learn, lol. I told Jane I didn’t know how to swim and I was afraid of water before we started the first lesson. At the very beginning of the lesson I was so afraid, but I feel better and better, I’m able to float on the water for a while and do some kicking at the end of the lesson, it’s way beyond my expectations! Her patience and encouragement really help me, she always can find a way for me to make more improvements after her observations. Now I really enjoy being in the water and can’t wait for the next lesson with Jane! Thank you Jane!

Earlier this summer, I signed up to compete in a full IronMan including a 2.4 mile open water lake swim without having previous swimming experience. After practicing a bit on my own throughout the summer, I realized I needed help. 4 weeks before the race, I came to Jane asking for help in improving my swimming form in order to complete the distance. Rather than telling me it was too ambitious a goal, Jane embraced the challenge with open arms. After 4 weeks under Janes coaching and guidance, I was able to successfully complete the swim and race despite getting such a late start. I can’t recommend Jane enough!
