Resilience Psychological Services
About this pro
I have a down-to-earth approach and work with individuals and families in a conversational manner. Sessions are intended to be supportive, cathartic, educational and informative. Above all else, I value the relationship between client and therapist and believe that without a sound relationship, the work done in session is limited. I'm happy to be in this field. I truly value having the opportunity to get to know each person that the work introduces me to. We live in a busy, often disconnected world, and the opportunity to connect with others is one way in which we can create health and happiness in our lives.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Initial intake sessions are $200 (75 mins), couples/family sessions are $180 (55 mins), and individual sessions are $160 (55 mins). I accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO insurance. The amount that you are responsible for each session is dependent on your insurance coverage and deductible. I am happy to check benefits for you either before your first appointment and at any point during our work together. If you do not have BCBS PPO I am happy to provide information to you and help you file a claim with your insurance company that you can submit for reimbursement or payment towards your deductible. If you choose to go this route you will be responsible for the full fee and will receive reimbursement directly from your insurance company if eligible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Before or during our first appointment we will discuss what it is that you're looking for in therapy. From there we will begin to explore your challenges and work together to discover new skills and ways of thinking that can improve your life and your relationships.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a doctorate degree in clinical psychology and am a licensed psychologist in the state of Illinois.
