- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Initial intake sessions are $200 (75 mins), couples/family sessions are $180 (55 mins), and individual sessions are $160 (55 mins). I accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO insurance. The amount that you are responsible for each session is dependent on your insurance coverage and deductible. I am happy to check benefits for you either before your first appointment and at any point during our work together. If you do not have BCBS PPO I am happy to provide information to you and help you file a claim with your insurance company that you can submit for reimbursement or payment towards your deductible. If you choose to go this route you will be responsible for the full fee and will receive reimbursement directly from your insurance company if eligible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before or during our first appointment we will discuss what it is that you're looking for in therapy. From there we will begin to explore your challenges and work together to discover new skills and ways of thinking that can improve your life and your relationships.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a doctorate degree in clinical psychology and am a licensed psychologist in the state of Illinois.
