About
Have you ever wanted to play along with your favorite songs? Or play them independently? Or maybe take a solo on your instrument? I'm here to help you achieve your goals! My teaching style is student-centered, encouraging, and fun. If you have specific goals you want to achieve, let's work together to get you there! You're never too old to start!
If you're a beginner, then we'll cover the basics, step by step. If you already have some experience, we can start with what you already know and build on it. It's important to me that you enjoy the process so it will be tailored to your learning style. I've been teaching students piano, ukulele, guitar, and voice in elementary general music classrooms for 15 years.

Steve made the pianolesson fun and very interactive for my 6 year old and it was a very appropriate beginner lesson. He was very punctual for the lesson and was responsive with communication.

Steve is an excellent, effective teacher who has a knack for conveying difficult information. I was shocked at how much I was able to learn in the time we spent together. I’d happily recommend him to anyone looking to begin their music journey or grow what they already know.

Thank you, Rapha! You're a great student!
