Introduction

I have taught voice, music theory, music history, and aural skills of all genres and voice parts for several years. I can teach all levels including collegiate, and have studied at NYU myself. I have been singing for well over a decade, including for choir, musicals, solo recitals, and operas. The most important part of singing is vocal health! We can work towards your goals for voice with techniques to ensure vocal strength and agility. The techniques in the lessons I offer will be 100% reliable that you will be able to use for a strong voice your whole life! In addition to vocal pedagogy, I can also help with stage presence, IPA, and creating the story behind your song! Singing is techniques but it’s also self expression and connecting with others, so be yourself and bring whatever you’d like to work on!

Peter is professional, patient, and knowledgeable about all things contemporary and classical. He taught me invaluable exercises and techniques to help me become the best and healthiest singer I can be. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to make sure to get an idea of previous knowledge, then to go over any goals or concerns. This way I can make sure to make the lesson for the student’s skill level, well being, and aspirations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken lessons for over 10 years, and studied at Hofstra University and New York University. I have been apart of several choirs, musicals, operas, chamber choirs, collegium, and have set up my own solo recital.
