Rev. Brad Hughes married us in spring of 2016. When we first met with him, he was very inviting and friendly. We loved that he offered a unique ceremony option in which he would read off our "Love Story" to our guests. He took time to go through the entire history of our relationship, pinning down every detail from start to engagement. He conducted our rehearsal with ease and class. And even more so during our ceremony. Rev. Brad had our friends and family involved and vocal during the short ceremony. Many of our guests came up to us afterwards and said how great Brad was and how unique the ceremony went. Overall I would recommend Rev. Brad Hughes for his services because he was helpful, welcoming, and very personal with our wedding. -Thomas Wedding May 28th, 2016-

Dear Brad, I don't have to tell you how important the officiant is at a wedding. It sets the tone for the day and the words you said were from the heart and you certainly got the attention of every guest there. My daughter, Abby, & Ben will remember (as we all will) the message you gave us about coming together to make a marriage work. It IS a joint effort and I can't tell you how much I treasure the way you ushered them into this bond to think as a team! I think every guest told me how much they LOVED you and the story you told of Abby & Ben. It was personal & funny, heartfelt & thought provoking. It was different and yet somewhat traditional. How perfect a setting for this unconventional couple! I just wanted to quickly say that I appreciated you and your style and I think you for giving them a good start on their journey! It was wonderful working with you and I know Abby & Ben enjoyed working with you too. You helped put their mind at ease for the day and that was a wonderful gift!

Brad did my wedding this past weekend and he was amazing!!! Everything was last minute planned and in less than a week he managed to FaceTime with me multiple times (we are from out of town) and come up with a complete personalized script for me and my husband! He told our love story perfectly and made sure to engage our audience in the ceremony! He showed up on time and went over the plans with everyone. It went perfectly!!!Would HIGHLY recommend him:)

Brad made sure we had the unique ceremony we both dearly needed, especially with our already tight budget. Brad's already outstanding reviews turned us to him and we're glad they did. He was accommodating with time when a few guests turned up late and patient as we gathered everyone. I would recommend Brad to anyone getting married. Working with Brad was nothing short of AMAZING! I truly felt as though my day was as important to him as it was to us throughout the entire process. He took the time to get to know us and our love story and was able to relay it to our family and friends beautifully. Tears were shed, laughs were had, and love was shared. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every wedding is unique. Many factors are considered when pricing a wedding ceremony that can best be evaluated during a free one-hour consultation. I offer 3 levels of service and flexible options that go with them. I have yet to meet with a couple who didn't see the unique value of what I offer to customize an unforgettable wedding that perfectly suits the couple's style, personality, and vision.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with every couple for a helpful and informative Zoom consultation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 13 years of experience as a non-denominational pastor and wedding officiant. I hold a Masters of Educational Ministries degree from Wheaton College '97 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance from Northern Illinois University '90. After NIU, I married my high school sweetheart on a heatwave summer day on July 20, 1992. We have 3 amazing kids, 1 snarky cat, and 1 happy golden retriever.
