We needed to make our kitchen a little larger and add more storage. We designed it through IKEA, and reached out to ChiTown Fixers for floor tile installation. While this was initially the only service we were looking to hire ChiTown Fixers to do, they ended up helping us with every aspect of the kitchen, including demolition, plumbing, cabinet assembly and installation, lighting, and wall repair. The team is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Vlad has a wonderful attention to detail that I highly appreciated; he was always thinking several steps ahead in planning and finishing touches. When unexpected situations arose, the team was able to be flexible and fix whatever issue was happening. For example, when our countertops were too short (IKEAs fault), the team was able to do some woodworking to ensure they fit perfectly in the space. They hooked up the under cabinet lighting to a light switch rather than leaving it remote-reliant. These touches let us have a high end kitchen for a budget price. Vlad provided price estimates throughout the process so I always provided the cost, which was helpful on a budget.
Not only would I recommend them to everyone, I’m going to be hiring them again to work on a backsplash! I can’t speak highly enough of them—they are truly one of the best teams out there.

We hired Chi Town Fixers to replace tiles in the bathroom of my husband's rental home. We are very satisfied with the work, communication during the project, and reasonable honest pricing.
What complicated this repair is that my husband was in recovery at a rehab home after a major heart surgery operation. I was the one who had to find someone to do the repair when his tenant called him reporting the problem.
We received 3 estimates for the work via thumbtack app. I had to read abd explain each one to my disabled husband who lay bedridden.
Chi town pricing came out in the middle price wise. But its always best to consider other factors such as communication skills.
Surprises included a hidden ant colony in the wall behind the shower and insulation that had gotten wet. This added a little to the estimate but it was very reasonable cost and totally understood.
His work was excellent and 100% would hire again.

Chi Town Fixers were amazing!!! Vlad (the owner) came out to our home and gave us a very fair estimate so we decided to hire him for our bar backsplash installation. They worked with our schedule and set up the installation in a very timely manner. The work they did was impeccable and they paid special attention to detail. We highly recommend Chi Town Fixers for tile work! You won’t be disappointed!!

I hired Chitown Fixers to replace the tile in my kitchen, and the project ended up turning into a full kitchen remodel! Vlad handled every change so well! I was very worried about how long it would take once we cleared everything out...decided we didn't want the old cabinets..and hadn't even designed the new kitchen yet. Vlad explained options clearly, worked with me on things I could do to speed up the process (like get certain items from store) and made sure the work was done right.
It really impressed how he adapted when the scope of the job grew. Working weekends to fit this project in while they had other projects. The craftsmanship is excellent, and my kitchen now looks amazing. They were respectful of my home, cleaned up daily, and vlad gave a very fair price.
We already are planning the next project with chitown fixers. Will plan it out much better this time. I highly recommend Chitown Fixers for any home project—big or small. They turned my kitchen into a space I truly love.
